Our family of practices started in 1982 when Dr. Marty Greer and Dr. Dan Griffiths started the Brownsville Small Animal Clinic in Brownsville WI and has continued to grow to four clinics.   We are proud that all our clinics are privately owned and operated.  

 

Our team is made up of a diverse group of veterinarians and support staff professionals who bring their love for animals to work with them every day. Our team comes from all backgrounds, and they have joined our clinics because of their desire to make a difference in the lives of animals, as well as the people who love those animals.

Our clinics specialize in dog and cat wellness and prevention, surgeries, reproduction, chiropractic techniques, laser therapy and more.  

We utilize low-stress handling, Fear Free principles with our patients.  We implementing innovative techniques and equipment to offer the best options for our patients.

Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
The CVT works hand-in-hand with our DVM’s in multiple procedures providing care for animals (inpatient and outpatient) including physical examinations, dental procedures, surgeries, immunizations, daily care of boarding and in-house patients, specimen analysis, euthanasia as well as client education, marketing, inventory maintenance, OSHA awareness and compliance and cleanliness of hospital facility and equipment. This position requires a working knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and common diseases; their symptoms, mean of transmission, treatment and prevention, and other basic preventative health care recommendations.  The CVT is under the direct guidance and supervision of the Lead Veterinary Technician and veterinarians. The CVT is expected to always maintain a professional demeanor, use appropriate medical terminology and support practice ownership, management and fellow team members at all times.

 

We are seeking certified veterinary technicians (CVT) who are:

Job duties include but are not limited to:
Handling and recording medical records.
• Educate clients and provide compassionate care to patients.
• Dentistry 
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Medication dispensing and administering.
• Assisting in surgery.
• Maintaining and monitoring anesthetized patients.
• Perform lab work using state-of-the art equipment and software.
• Perform radiographs and ultrasounds using digital equipment.
• Client education.
