Project Management Intern (Work-Study)
This position is open only to students who qualify for federal or state work-study.
As a Project Management Intern at Folio, you’ll play a central role in keeping projects organized, on track, and aligned across teams that are building innovative tools to help students access meaningful work experiences. You’ll assist with project planning, coordination, and communication to ensure smooth execution across product, design, data, and operations.
This position is ideal for students interested in business operations, management, or product development who want to gain hands-on experience managing real projects in a mission-driven, fast-paced startup environment.
What You’ll Do
Support the coordination of projects across multiple teams and deadlines.
Help maintain project timelines, documentation, and task trackers (e.g., Asana, Notion, or Google Sheets).
Prepare agendas, take notes, and summarize action items from team meetings.
Communicate project updates and dependencies between departments.
Assist in identifying risks, roadblocks, and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications
Must be eligible for federal or state work-study funding.
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Clear communication and attention to detail.
Comfortable with productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Notion, or project management platforms).
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from a fast-moving team.
