R&D Lab Technician
SUMMARY
Responsible for performing the QC (Quality Control), production, and R&D lab work that is assigned to him/her by the R&D Lab Supervisor or R&D Lab Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure that testing of QC and production jobs are performed as soon as possible.
- Keep work areas clean.
- Learn how to use each instrument in the lab.
- Report any material shortage or equipment issues to the R&D Lab Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be familiar with computers running Windows, and be proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Must have excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Must pay acute attention to detail and have high level of accuracy.
- Must have effective time management skills.
- Must have a desire to learn and apply new skills to the job.
- Must have the following personal attributes: be honest, trustworthy, and respectful, and demonstrate sound work ethics.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Conditions: Work in office (controlled temperature); possible light lifting to 25 lbs.
- Hazards: Exposure to hazardous materials; all safety precautions must be observed and adhered to at all times.
- Must wear protective PPE at all times as instructed. Safety shoes (toe protection) are required in areas outside of the lab and front office.
You must be able to work in-person in Morgan Hill, CA within the next 3-4 weeks. If you are an active college student in another state, or outside of the Bay Area, please do not apply. You will not be able to work on-site.
