Finance Intern

This position is open only to students who qualify for federal or state work-study.

 

As a Finance Intern at Folio, you’ll help shape the financial operations and strategy behind a national initiative connecting college students to meaningful, paid work experiences. You’ll gain firsthand exposure to startup finance, budgeting, and grant reporting — while learning how funding decisions can drive access and opportunity in higher education.

This role is ideal for students interested in applying their finance, accounting, or economics coursework to a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where their contributions make a measurable difference.

 

What You’ll Do

Support financial planning, analysis, and reporting across multiple programs.

Assist with budget tracking, expense reconciliation, and grant documentation.

Help prepare internal financial dashboards and monthly summaries for leadership.

Conduct research on funding sources, cost efficiency, and partnership models.

Collaborate with the operations and data teams to ensure accurate and transparent reporting.

Qualifications

Must be eligible for federal or state work-study funding.

Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
