College Mentor: Summer Discipleship Intern
Duration: 9-week summer internship (June/July), June only may also be an option
Experiences may include:
- Discipling and mentoring local high school students in the internship program
- Working with on-site weekly mission teams on construction and service projects
- Leading a 3-week children's program
- Leading a 2-week junior high leadership and adventure program
- Assisting in Sunday and Wednesday church services
- Janitorial and grounds upkeep
Focus:
- Discipleship of local students through work and service projects
- Leadership growth and development
- Tailoring experiences to align with your natural gifts and talents
- Providing opportunities to stretch and grow outside of natural gifts and talents
The following are skills that we will work to develop during the program, not skills we are looking for candidates to have already mastered. We are looking for candidates who may have a start on this skill set and are looking for opportunities for growth in these areas.
