Director III - Migrant Education

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent - Educational Services Division, plans, develops, organizes, controls and directs the various components for each of the regional districts of the Migrant Education Program; monitors and provides technical assistance regarding recruitment, educational services, and fiscal support to subgrantee districts; assures compliance with Federal and State regulations and that quality programs are provided for the special needs of migrant children; supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel. 

Leadership team members are eligible to receive a $2,500 annual stipend for a master’s degree and a $2,500 additional stipend for a doctorate, provided official documentation is submitted.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 
Any combination equivalent to a master’s degree in education, program administration or related field and five (5) years increasingly responsible experience in migrant education, school administration or related field. 

Licenses and Other Requirements 
- Valid California Administrative Credential or Standard Supervision Credential 
- Valid California Teaching Credential or California Pupil Personnel Services Credential 
- Valid California driver's license
