Student Programming Position

Intro:

Flight Crew is looking to fill (2) student positions to assist with Flight Crew programming.

Job Description

Assist Student Affairs with developing and executing a diverse schedule of student programming for UT Martin students. The individual will provide support the day-to-day operations of campus student programming throughout the academic year. This position will answer to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and the Director of Student Involvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide programming ideas to meet the interests of all UT Martin Students.
  • Solicit programming ideas from students.
  • Assist with marketing and promotion of programming efforts.
  • Assist with the execution of student programing efforts, including but not limited to:
    • Event planning and organization
    • Event setup and take down
    • Event management
  • Participate in bi-weekly meetings and work programming events as scheduled.

Requirements

  • Full-Time UTM Student
  • Strong communications skills
  • Passion for programming for the student body
  • Able to attend/work events on nights and weekends as needed.
  • Averages 4-5 hours per week.
  • Compensation is a scholarship stipend each semester.
