Job Title: Sustainability Analyst - Contract Position

Location: Flexible/Remote

Duration: 20-30 hours / week

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and environmentally conscious individual to join our team as a Sustainability Intern. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the sustainability field, working alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects that contribute to environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and projects.
  • Conduct research on latest trends in sustainability, including green technologies, sustainable materials, and environmental policies.
  • Support the team in managing and updating sustainability certifications and documentation.
  • Help organize and participate in sustainability workshops and training sessions.
  • Analyze data related to carbon emissions, energy usage, waste management, and other sustainability metrics.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate sustainability initiatives and results to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • A strong passion for and commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible resource management.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with sustainability certifications such as LEED, WELL, or similar is a plus.
  • Highly proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with data analysis tools.
  • Power BI proficiency
  • Python coding skills
