Business & Marketing Intern

Job Description

We are a rapidly growing MA based nonprofit.

Interested in utilizing and growing your business and marketing skills? Connor's Kindness Project (CKP) seeks interns that would like to work with our organization, a rising nonprofit based out of Woburn/Lynnfield, MA. CKP supports the well-being of children who are emotionally, physically, or financially in need due to serious medical issues, mental health conditions, family crises, housing insecurity, and poverty situations. In addition, CKP's Kids Kindness Club initiative encourages and spreads kindness in elementary schools.

CKP interns work remotely and are involved in our day-to-day operations. Some tasks include working on website development and updates; increasing social media presence on several platforms; assisting with events and fundraising; and some general administrative work. Interns can also expect to conduct market research and create Microsoft/Google documents and sheets. If interested, interns may create marketing materials on Canva, such as social media posts, event flyers, company newsletters, and more.

Your ideas are welcome: CKP has found that  ideas that our interns have provided have made an impact on projects.

Compensation

This is an unpaid position; however, students may receive course credit for the internship. Students seeking this option should inquire with their academic advisor. CKP will work with the student and their college on achieving desired learning outcomes and completing all necessary paperwork.

Requirements

To be discussed between intern and CKP:

  • Part-time commitment of 10-15 hours/week, based on semester end
  • Duration of Fall semester, Spring semester, or Summer
