Position Overview

The Infant-Toddler Center Teacher will co-lead or support a classroom within a professional, collaborative, multicultural, and play-based early childhood environment. Our year-round program emphasizes nurturing relationships, curiosity, and discovery through play and exploration.

Required Qualifications & Skills

CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field — or an Associate’s degree or higher in any field by January 1, 2026.

3+ years of experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting.

Deep engagement with children to understand and meet their individual developmental needs.

Ability to create differentiated learning experiences for a variety of learning styles.

Strong collaboration skills with co-educators and administrators to support the whole child.

Commitment to working in partnership with families to foster children’s growth and learning.

Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 36 months in a childcare environment.

Excellent organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.

Physical ability to be active throughout the day, including lifting up to 40 lbs.

Enthusiasm for ongoing professional growth and participation in professional development.

Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Must meet all OSSE licensing requirements, including criminal background check, child protection registry clearance, and satisfactory drug test results.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Starting at $22.46 per hour, plus overtime and benefits. Base salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience in early childhood education.

Paid Leave:

Two weeks in summer

Two weeks in winter

One week in spring
