Location: Chanticleer Guest House – Door County, WI
Are you looking for a hands-on hospitality experience in one of Door County’s most charming destinations? The Chanticleer Guest House is seeking an Innkeeper & Social Media Intern to join our team for a unique and rewarding opportunity to learn the art of running a bed and breakfast.
About the Role
This internship offers a blend of hospitality management, guest relations, and digital marketing. You’ll assist with the daily operations of our inn, help ensure our guests have an exceptional stay, and promote the Chanticleer Guest House through creative social media content.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and concierge services
- Help oversee housekeeping staff to maintain high-quality standards
- Assist housekeeping to ensure rooms and common areas meet guest expectations
- Learn all aspects of innkeeping, including reservations, breakfast service, guest communications, inventory management and marketing.
- Capture and share the beauty of the property and Door County through engaging social media posts
- Assist with marketing projects, photography, and online promotions

Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Willingness to learn, assist, and take initiative

- Location: Chanticleer Guest House, Sturgeon Bay, WI
- Duration: Seasonal or semester internship (flexible dates)
- Compensation: Internship stipend and/or housing option may be available
- Hours: Part-time to full-time depending on the season
