Position Overview:
As a Safety and Risk Management Intern, you will work closely with our Safety Team and gain exposure to all aspects of occupation health and safety in the workplace, specifically to the construction and paving industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-site and in-office support for all aspects of the Safety and Risk Management Team
- Interaction with Operations, Human Resources, Environmental and Quality Control departments
- Hands on project support
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a closely related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite of tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to have fun while working hard

Wage and Benefits:
The pay rate for this position is $22.00 hour to $26.00 hour depending on experience, education, and qualifications.
Lakeside Industries, Inc. seasonal employees participate in state run paid sick, medical and family leave programs, and have access to our company sponsored employee assistance program. Interns working beyond 90 days, may have the option to participate in our 401(k)-retirement plan.
