Entry-Level Installation Technician

Birdi Systems is hiring motivated Entry-Level Installation Field Technicians to join our team! You’ll gain hands-on experience installing and maintaining cutting-edge security and surveillance systems while learning directly from experienced professionals in the field.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with the installation and setup of security systems, including cameras (CCTV), card readers, access control panels, and intercoms.
• Learn to run cabling (copper and fiber), make terminations, and connect devices to power and networks.
• Support system testing and troubleshooting under supervision from senior technicians.
• Gain experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Help perform preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Follow all safety procedures and uphold BSI’s standards of quality and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For:

• Graduate of a trade, vocational, or technical program in Electronics, IT, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Interest in hands-on technical work and working with tools, wiring, and systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical or low-voltage systems (preferred, but we’ll train you).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Must have a clean driving record and be eligible for government badging (background check required).

(Experience with Access Control or CCTV is helpful but not required—training provided!)
