Project Description: The Policy Intern will focus on creating policy briefs and presentations to inform Healthy Babies Louisville (HBL) partners. This role involves researching and synthesizing information on maternal and child health policies, analyzing data, and developing concise briefs to support HBL's efforts.
Goals/Objectives of Project:
Research and analyze maternal and child health policies and data.
Develop evidence-based policy briefs and presentations to inform HBL partners.
Collaborate with HBL partners to gather insights and feedback.
Support HBL efforts to stay informed on partner advocacy efforts and resources for HBL partners
Required Skills:
Strong research and analytical skills.
Proficiency in academic writing and policy analysis.
Excellent communication skills for presenting findings.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Background in public health policy, health equity, or related fields.
Experience with data visualization tools.
Familiarity with maternal and child health issues.
Ability to synthesize complex information into concise briefs.
