Campus Barista - Workship

In order to be considered, applicants must upload their ONE PAGE resume to Handshake, complete the external application, and send this link to a faculty or staff member (or a previous employer). 

Baristas work with the Director, Coordinator, and Leadership Team to fulfill the missions of Barefoots and Modero Coffee of operating two sustainable specialty coffee shops and creating a strong sense of community and campus culture.

Baristas are responsible for the full range of a customer's experience, which includes:

• Greeting customers
• Answering questions
• Taking and processing orders
• Managing the register
• Preparing drinks to high standards
• Cleaning the shops.

Furthermore, baristas become knowledgeable about coffee, espresso, and our other offerings and can educate others who are interested.

Baristas may work in Barefoots, Modero Coffee, or both. The job requires working regular weekly hours and select weekends. Baristas may be given other duties, as well.

We provide full barista training, thus no prior experience as a barista is necessary. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required and baristas are expected to work 10-15 hours a week.
