Position Summary:

Materials Engineering at Rolls-Royce offers diverse career paths. You may work with manufacturing, suppliers, failure investigation or design engineers on materials specifications and data. Our team handles a wide range of materials - from metal alloys like steel, titanium, and aluminium, to composites. We support specialty processes including casting, forging, coatings, joining, non-destructive testing and additive manufacturing.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Executing materials engineering projects that support manufacturing, design, or service, including planning and managing projects, conducting experiments and performing modeling
  • Analyzing results and publishing reports detailing procedures and conclusions
  • Delivering presentations on project status and key milestones
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to execute larger projects

Who we’re looking for:

  • Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering or Engineering major with a focus in Materials
  • Good written and oral communication to a variety of audiences

Relevant majors:

Attending an accredited college/university working towards a bachelor's degree or higher.

Minimum GPA: 3.0

Pay Range

$17.00 - $36.00-Hourly
