The Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) is responsible for the equitable coordination, administration, and integration of the statewide emergency medical services system to reduce suffering and save lives throughout California. • Located in Rancho Cordova, EMSA's headquarters offer free parking and proximity to stores, restaurants, and Highway 50
• Workdays are Monday thru Friday, (excluding holidays,) with base schedule of 8 to 5, with some flex opportunities

During emergency operations, you may be required to work in EMSA’s Departmental Operations Center, other governmental Emergency Operations Centers or in EMSA’s field Mission Support Team to provide assistance in emergency response and recovery activities. Staff is required to complete emergency management and Incident Command System (ICS) training based on their respective roles in a response and participates in periodic departmental and statewide readiness drills and exercises.
Under these emergency operations, staff need to work effectively and cooperatively under stressful conditions with short lead times; work weekends, holidays, extended and rotating shifts (day/night); and may be required to travel statewide for extended periods of time and on short notice.

Under the direction of the Administration Manager, Staff Services Manager I (SSMI) the AGPA performs at the full journey analytical level, to coordinate and control all aspects of the development and negotiation of departmental contracts while ensuring all technical, contractual, and administrative requirements are met.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines independently
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
