What You'll Be Doing
The Bank Credit Risk & Data Analytics Intern will support the team in managing and analyzing financial data related to loan portfolios and credit risk. This role will assist in data preparation, reporting, and documentation to help ensure data integrity and support decision-making processes.
What We're Looking For
- Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing loan and financial data
- Support the development of basic reports and visualizations using Excel or PowerBI
- Help monitor data quality and flag inconsistencies
- Participate in documentation of data sources, processes, and outputs
- Collaborate with team members to understand data needs and assist with analysis
- Contribute to periodic reporting and special projects as assigned
What You'll Bring
- Basic proficiency in Excel; exposure to SQL, Python, or data visualization tools is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field with at least one year of college completed.
Systems & Technology
- Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Exposure to PowerBI and SQL
