Technical Deployer

Assured Information Security (AIS) has an opening for a Technical Deployer. In this role you will support the deployment, field support, and help desk support for SecureView's accredited cross domain software. The Technical Deployer will have responsibility for all aspects of the deployment from the initial customer engagement, planning, installation, accreditation test, and follow on customer support.

 

This is an onsite position located at our headquarters in Rome, NY and requires an active Secret clearance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with senior deployment engineers to plan and conduct SecureView installations
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and calls with the end user customers
  • Serve as an interface to the government customer for coordination and tracking of all deployment activities
  • Assist with obtaining hardware/software quotes
  • Support customer trouble tickets and tier III help desk calls
  • Document issues as they relate to specific deployment efforts and track issues through resolution 
  • Assist with training events as needed
  • Assist with test efforts as needed
  • Assist with conducting site surveys and installs of IT infrastructure at CONUS and OCONUS customer sites
  • Assist with Site Based Security Assessments
  • Support customer requirements and design discussions

 

Education/Experience/Skillset Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study and a minimum of 2 years of experience in performing IT deployments or service delivery contracts in an end-user/customer environment or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot, debug and work end-user issues to resolution
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting virtualization technologies and VDI environments (Citrix, Vmware, etc.)

 

Preferred Experience/Skillset:

  • Ability to manage both RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) / Linux and Windows systems and deployments 
  • Certification Compliant with DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (i.e., CompTIA Security+ CE)
  • Knowledge of commercial network solutions (Cisco, Aruba, etc.)

 

Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance 

Travel Required: Up to 50%

US Salary Range:  $84,724 – $121,199
