Performance Nutrition Center (PNC) Volunteer

With over 650 student-athletes participating in UW’s 22 sports programs, the department of Intercollegiate Athletics is committed to providing student-athletes with the ability to compete for national and conference championships while working toward a degree from one of the world’s leading public research universities. 

 

Responsibilities –

  • Help prepare and hand out snacks and recovery items to student-athletes.
  • Restock and keep fueling stations organized.
  • Track and manage inventory of nutrition supplies.
  • Make sure all nutrition areas follow food safety and cleanliness rules.
  •  

Hours - 

Minimum Availability: At least 2 hours per week; Preferred Schedule: 1–2 shifts per week, ideally 3 hours per shift

 

Requirement - 

Requirement: Must obtain a valid food handler’s permit prior to the first shift; Support: Manager will assist with the cost of the permit.

 

Preferred- 

Volunteers enrolled in either an educational program or a credentialing program that requires volunteer hours.
