Summary

The Program Caseworker provides necessary support for individuals with disabilities and visual impairment to accomplish necessary tasks related to health and independent living that would otherwise be impossible or impractical due to the extent of the individual's disability.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Licensing Center employee scheduling
  • Quality Management Plan facilitator
  • Transportation to medical appointments and grocery shopping, post office, banks, other social service agencies
  • Chore services (assisting clients with shopping, reading mail, assisting with bills, scheduling appointments, completing forms)
  • Recordkeeping (daily, weekly, and monthly recording of services provided to clients and the time spent with individual clients
  • Maintenance (scheduled routine maintenance for company vehicles as needed)
  • Other (assist at fundraising events as needed, all other duties assigned)

 

Education/Experience

  • Associate's degree preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Three years' experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Established safe driving record and valid state driver's license is necessary
