Environmental Health and Safety Intern
The EHS Intern will assist the Environmental Health and Safety team in maintaining a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace. This internship offers hands-on experience in environmental compliance, workplace safety programs, and sustainability initiatives. The intern will support inspections, data collection, and training activities while learning about federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with workplace safety inspections and audits.
Help maintain EHS documentation and compliance records.
Support incident reporting and investigation processes.
Participate in safety meetings and trainings.
Support the development of safety communications and awareness campaigns.
Conduct research on EHS regulations, policies, or best practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Public Health, or a related field.
Expected graduation date: December 2026 or May 2027.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic knowledge of EHS principles or a demonstrated interest in the field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
