Marketing Development Intern
MARKETING/DEVELOPMENT INTERN
Working with the VP of Marketing & Development and the Development & Communications Manager, the intern would work to amplify Fellowship’s mission, strengthen the Fellowship brand, increase awareness of our commitment to quality care and build constituent engagement through various projects and tasks.
DURATION/COMPENSATION
Up to 225 hours per semester
Onsite during normal business hours 8:00 am-4:30 pm; hybrid options available
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/CREDENTIALS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Enrolled in college courses geared toward marketing, communication, public relations
Familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Fluency with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
Keen attention to detail
Outgoing personality
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Regular in person work attendance and punctuality
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting field research with donors and staff that will be synthesized and featured on a variety of platforms
Taking part in collaboration to develop new marketing and communication strategies
Creating a series of brief gratitude videos and other collaterals to enhance our donor stewardship program
Researching local/regional grant opportunities and funding sources
Writing articles/developing content for our “Fellowship Spirit” newsletter and Annual Report of Giving
Developing media relations and public relations skills
Collaborating with staff on TikTok recruitment videos
Developing social media posts for use on various platforms
Performance is to be in accordance with the policies, procedures and the Mission and the RISE Core Values of Fellowship Community

To develop a broad understanding and appreciation of the nonprofit sector and the roles and responsibilities of nonprofit professionals
To build experience in a professional work environment while gaining experience working independently and in teams

To gain an understanding of the marketing and philanthropic process, especially in a nonprofit healthcare setting
To hone creative writing and storytelling skills, as well as the ability to interact with an aging generation
