Political Analyst
Political Analyst for a central KY based position.
Political Analyst to apply and grow your knowledge of politics. He/she will assist with research on political issues, draft reports, attend and summarize meetings, schedule meetings with local officials and support the preparation of presentations and informational materials. This person may travel with the candidate and engage in community outreach activities. The analyst will work closely with the team to understand policy impacts and contribute to the organization's advocacy efforts. The initial time estimate is through May 19, 2026, subject to change. If I win, I will need an office based in Lexington area and Washington D.C.
Qualifications
- Detail oriented with great organizational skills
- Strong Writing, Editing, and Proofreading skills
- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Passion for politics and public policy
- Pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in political science, Public Policy, or a related field
- This is a hybrid job, but you must have time available to work with candidate during the day and most nights. Saturday and Sunday are variable.
