Elementary School Teacher

Duties:

- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and educational standards.
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, literacy, science, and social studies.
- Utilize learning technologies and resources to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and social development.
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Provide early intervention and support for students who may be struggling academically or socially.
- Incorporate library services into lesson plans to promote literacy education.
- Write progress reports and communicate with parents/guardians regarding student performance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license.
- Experience working with elementary school students, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and learning theories.
- Familiarity with working with students with autism or special needs is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Proficiency in math and literacy education.
- Familiarity with learning technologies and their integration into the classroom.
