This position is for Advertising or Public Relations Majors ONLY.

The Creative Director (CD) leads the creative vision of the agency, guiding the development of innovative, effective, and engaging advertising campaigns. This role requires strong leadership, conceptual thinking, and collaboration skills to ensure that all creative work aligns with client objectives and agency standards. The Creative Director works closely with art directors, copywriters, designers, and account executives to inspire and oversee the creative process from idea to execution.  

Key Responsibilities  

Creative Leadership  

  • Provide vision and direction for all creative projects and campaigns.  
  • Guide and mentor student designers, copywriters, and art directors.  
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to generate campaign ideas and concepts.  

Campaign Development  

  • Oversee the creation of campaign concepts, storyboards, and mockups.  
  • Ensure creative solutions align with client goals, strategies, and target audiences.  
  • Review and refine creative work before presentation to clients.  

Collaboration & Communication  

  • Partner with account executives and strategists to understand client needs.  
  • Work with project managers to balance creativity with deadlines and deliverables.  
  • Present creative concepts and campaign work to clients in a clear, compelling way.  

Quality Control  

  • Maintain high standards for creative excellence and consistency.  
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve and elevate team work.  
  • Ensure final deliverables meet both client expectations and agency brand standards.  

Skills & Qualifications  

  • Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving skills.  
  • Leadership ability to guide, mentor, and inspire peers.  
  • Strong portfolio of design, copywriting, or multimedia work (academic or professional).  
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.  
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar creative tools.  
  • Passion for advertising, design, and storytelling.

Time Requirement: 10+ hours per week.   

Compensation: $15 per hour.
