About Seen & Heard
Seen & Heard is a national organization igniting change with young people through advocacy, education, and partnership. In the same way the AARP represents and brings home wins for older adults, Seen & Heard represents young people — and delivers real results for them.

We’re building a movement that ensures youth voices are not only heard, but have real power in shaping decisions that affect their lives from classrooms to communities to Congress!

About the Youth Board of Directors

The Seen & Heard Youth Board of Directors will be made up of passionate young leaders (ages 15–22) from across the country who want to help shape the direction of a growing national movement for youth voice and youth power.

Youth Board members:

• Advise Seen & Heard on youth-driven priorities and campaigns
• Connect with peers and mentors who share a passion for advocacy and leadership.
• Help influence national conversations about education, health, and opportunity for young people.
• Build skills in organizing, communication, and policy engagement

Who Should Apply

We’re looking for youth who are:

• Passionate about making change in their schools or communities
• Interested in advocacy, leadership, or organizing
• Ready to collaborate, learn, and share their perspective
• Committed to amplifying the voices of their generation

Details

• Ages: 15–22
• Commitment: Virtual meetings twice a month on Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:00. Additional tasks would average 5-8 hours of work per month.
• Deadline: November 7, 2025
