Civil Engineering Technician

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing cadd plans, specifications, review of contractor provided submittals, and some on site construction inspection for new construction and rehabilitation.  This position will work hand in glove with our engineering staff and will add value to engineering projects by making plans that are clear and purposeful. 

Responsibilities

Design details to ensure they are developed, timely and representative of engineering intent
Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
Ensure project is being developed within budgetary constraints

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
Experience in Cadd and Microsoft Office Suite - preferably MicroStation
Familiarity with construction and construction management
