Overview:
The On-Field Host serves as the face of the Spuds’ game-day entertainment. This individual should be outgoing, high-energy, and comfortable engaging with fans on the field and in the stands. The role blends performance, coordination, and crowd interaction to make every game memorable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the on-field emcee for all Spuds home games.
- Work with marketing and ticketing departments to organize fan experiences and between-inning games.
- Coordinate ceremonial first pitches, National Anthem performers, and special guest recognitions.
- Execute and announce in-game promotions, sponsor activations, and crowd-participation contests.
- Collaborate with the DJ/PA team to ensure smooth transitions and timing between innings.
- Maintain high energy, professionalism, and fan engagement throughout each event.
- Assist Ticketing and Sales Dept to sell group outings, event deck rentals, and flex ticket packages.
Preferred Skills:
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable speaking on microphone before large crowds.
- Excellent communication and improvisation abilities.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills.
- Passion for baseball and fan-focused entertainment.
