Job Title: Direct Support Professional Community Living Specialist
North Star is seeking Direct Support Provider Community Support Specialists (DSP- CSP) The role of DSPCS is to engage the clients you will be working with clients who have physical or mental disabilities and need assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and transportation, as well as providing support with recreational activities, community integration. As a Community Living DSP, you will work in the home providing support services. You will be aiding clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Support Professional (DSP)! Our DSPs have the great experience of supporting individuals with
developmental and intellectual disabilities to live their most successful lives.
- Assist clients in learning life skills
- Maintaining a safe living environment
- Assisting individuals with housekeeping, personal hygiene, and other routine needs
- Providing transportation to social outings, doctor appointments, and other activities
- Promoting independence while providing the necessary support
- Delivering individualized support for each patient
- Establishing a safe and trusting relationship with patients
- Maintaining regular paperwork, including fiscal reports, behavioral assessments, medication logs, casework notes, and daily activity logs
- Documenting changes and updates using a computer
- Maintaining extensive knowledge of clients' needs
- The work environment at North Star is casual and relaxed.

* Overnights Friday and Saturday 10 pm - 10 am
* Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 2 pm - 10 pm
* Monday - Friday 2 pm - 5 pm
* Monday - Thursday 7 am - 8:45 am
* Thursday 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Overnights Fridays and Saturdays 10pm to 10am
