At OPPO, you'll be on the front lines, helping our clients prepare for and succeed in the workplace. You'll be a mentor, a guide, and an advocate, all while building skills that will benefit you in any career path you choose.

What You'll Learn

This role is an incredible resume booster and is perfect for students in a variety of fields.

Psychology, Social Work, and Sociology Majors: You'll apply classroom concepts to real-life situations, helping individuals overcome personal and professional barriers. You'll gain hands-on experience in client assessment, advocacy, and building supportive relationships.

Business, HR, and Management Majors: You'll work directly with employers, helping to match client skills with job needs and facilitating communication between employees and employers. This is a great way to gain experience in professional communication, problem-solving, and HR functions like creating resumes and conducting mock interviews.

Education and Special Education Majors: You'll get practical experience in one-on-one coaching, teaching, and mentoring. You'll help clients learn new skills, prioritize tasks, and integrate into a professional environment.

The skills you'll develop—communication, adaptability, problem-solving, and professional advocacy—are highly valued in all industries. They are the keys to a successful career, no matter where you end up.

We know you have a busy schedule, so we offer flexible part-time and full-time positions that can work around your classes. Our clients are located throughout Utah, and we can most likely match you with one close to your campus or home. You'll also be reimbursed for mileage.
