Quality Control Intern

Position Summary:

Summer Internship to help Quality Control department with tasks, such as product sampling and data entry.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform routine microbial, chemical and product sampling to assure that QA/HACCP/SQF/SSOP standards are being maintained.
  • Maintain proper documentation in order to assure adherence to specifications.
  • Collect samples for lab analyses to assure that product meets specifications.
  • Perform routine data entry in computer.
  • Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis.

 

Education & Experience:

 

  • Currently enrolled in Food Science/Biology curriculum in college or another similar undergraduate field.  

 

Working Conditions:

 

  • Office work and plant work will require warmer attire.
