Director Of Finance
Be the Financial Leader Who Shapes Our Future – Director of Finance
Are you ready to step into a role where your financial expertise drives growth, builds stability, and prepares you for the next level of leadership? At ConEquip Parts, we’ve spent the past 16 years helping the construction industry eliminate downtime with reliable access to heavy machinery parts—and a personal touch that keeps customers coming back.
Now, we’re seeking a Director of Finance to join our executive leadership team and help guide us into our next era of growth. This role is more than financial management—it’s a chance to be a strategic business partner, mentor a high-performing team, and even step into CFO succession planning. If you thrive in high-volume environments, love connecting financial strategy to real-world impact, and are ready to leave your mark on a growing company, this could be your defining opportunity.
Why This Role is Different:
- Pathway to CFO: This isn’t just a finance seat—it’s a potential succession plan for our current CFO.
- Make Strategic Impact: You’ll influence decisions that shape growth, profitability, and sustainability.
- High-Volume, High-Impact: Work in a fast-paced transactional environment where your systems and insights keep the business moving.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with executives, banks, investors, and external partners to fuel our mission.
- Cultural Fit Matters: We’re values-driven and team-oriented—humility, collaboration, and integrity are non-negotiable.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Financial Strategy & Planning: Design and execute strategies that drive short-term wins and long-term growth.
- Own Reporting & Analysis: Deliver accurate, timely, and transparent reporting to leadership, the Board, and external stakeholders.
- Drive Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and capital allocation to maximize growth and stability.
- M&A & Integration: Lead due diligence, financial modeling, and system integrations to ensure seamless transactions.
- Manage Risk & Compliance: Protect the business with strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.
- Build & Mentor a Team: Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing finance team.
- Be the Voice of Finance: Act as a trusted spokesperson with banks, investors, auditors, and regulators.
What You Bring:
- Proven Senior Finance Leadership: 10+ years progressive finance experience, including at least 5 in senior leadership (Controller, Director, etc.).
- Hands-On + Strategic: You can dive into details like a Controller while thinking like an Executive.
- High-Volume Expertise: Strong background in transactional environments and financial controls.
- M&A & Integration Experience: Comfortable leading due diligence, consolidations, and system upgrades.
- Tech-Savvy: Skilled with financial systems, data queries, and third-party integrations.
- Relationship Builder: Strong history of working with banks, VCs, and external partners.
- Credentials: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/CPA/CFA strongly preferred.
