\POSITION OVERVIEW
The Account Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring Thrive’s client meetings, communications, and deliverables run smoothly and professionally. This role combines attentive presence with strong organization, note-taking, and coordination skills to help the team maintain clarity, consistency, and follow-through.
The ideal candidate is polished, reliable, and proactive — someone who brings calm confidence to meetings, represents Thrive with professionalism, and helps ensure every client interaction feels seamless and supported. This position offers visibility into high-level strategy discussions and provides foundational experience for future growth within the agency.
\POSITION DETAILS
Employment Type: Independent contractor (paid per meeting)
Compensation: $25 per meeting (typically one hour long)
Meeting Frequency: Approximately 2–3 meetings per week (as needed)
Location: Remote
Scheduling: Meeting invitations will be sent in advance. Specialists may choose which meetings to accept or decline based on availability, but once a meeting is accepted, attendance is required and non-negotiable.
Professionalism: This role represents Thrive’s brand presence in live environments. Showing up on time, on camera, and professionally presented (appropriate lighting, attire, and background) is essential. Reliability, composure, and attention to detail are key expectations.
\KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Meeting Support & Client Presence
- Attend client and internal meetings to represent Thrive with professionalism and attentiveness.
- Provide presence and engagement on calls — listening actively, nodding along, taking notes, and reinforcing collaboration and alignment.
- Capture key discussion points, decisions, and next steps accurately.
- Follow up promptly with summaries, action items, or updates in project management tools.
Coordination & Organization
- Support account leads with scheduling, recaps, and documentation.
- Maintain meeting records, timelines, and deliverables in Monday.com or other systems.
- Track status updates and ensure internal accountability for assigned follow-ups.
Communication & Relationship Support
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients, offering responsiveness and reliability.
- Support the creation and proofreading of client-facing materials, reports, and presentations.
- Uphold Thrive’s professional standards for tone, clarity, and timeliness in all communications.
Cultural Alignment & Professionalism
- Demonstrate polished, positive presence in all interactions.
- Embody Thrive’s values of excellence, integrity, and partnership.
- Anticipate needs, minimize friction, and help meetings and relationships feel smooth and productive.
\QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication, listening, and organizational skills.
- Polished, camera-ready professional demeanor and reliable follow-through.
- Consistent availability during standard U.S. business hours (Pacific Time preferred).
- Ability to track multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using project management and communication tools (e.g., Monday.com, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom).
- Prior agency, hospitality, or client-facing experience preferred but not required.
