About Camp Blue Ridge:
Camp Blue Ridge is a family-owned and operated sleepaway camp for ages 6–16, located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. For over 55 years, we’ve provided campers with a safe, supportive environment to make friends, grow independent, and live their greatest story!

Position Overview:
The Social Media Intern will capture and share the magic of summer camp life through creative, engaging daily content across all social media platforms. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves storytelling, social media strategy, and creating fun, authentic content. In addition to media work, the intern will also serve as a camp counselor, fully immersed in camp life and community.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, create, and post daily content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Work closely with the Camp Photographer to develop photo and video content that highlights the camp experience.

Capture candid moments, camper activities, and special events that reflect the energy and spirit of Camp Blue Ridge.

Assist with editing, caption writing, and managing post schedules.

Brainstorm new ideas for social media trends, challenges, and storytelling opportunities.

Serve as a camp counselor, helping guide and support a group of campers throughout the summer.

Qualifications:

Strong familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook trends and features.

Experience with basic photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, or similar).

Creative thinker with a fun, positive attitude and eye for storytelling.

Strong time management and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor, community environment.

Must enjoy working with children and being part of camp life.
