Licensed Clinician/Social Worker

Salary: $60,132 - $70,000

 

This role provides direct, consultative, and supportive assessment and therapeutic services in psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation therapy to persons served to enhance individual potential for learning and to meet the specific rehabilitation needs of persons served.

  • Implements clinical services for individual persons served under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, in collaboration with the Trans-disciplinary team (IDT), and in accordance with regulations, standards, and guidelines defined by the Society for Cognitive Rehabilitation, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), the Individual Support Plan (ISP), Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), and established Bancroft policies and procedures.
  • Provides direct and consultative psychological services, treatments, and intervention in accordance with regulations, standards, and guidelines defined by the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners’ Regulations and Laws, Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Individual Support Plan (ISP), and established Bancroft policies and procedures.
  • Provides direct psychological therapy, treatment services, and intervention to persons served:
    • Conducts clinical assessment of the differential, individualized and accurate and identification of the psychosocial/behavioral/spiritual factors of individuals, groups, and families for the purpose of individualized treatment plan
    • Provides individual and group psychotherapy;
       
    • Plans and schedules frequency and duration of sessions in accordance with individual needs;
       
    • Utilizes appropriate therapeutic techniques based on the diagnostic, cognitive, psychological,
      communication, physical abilities, and learning capacity of the individual served;
       
    • Prompts and/or assists each person in the achievement of goals while actively encouraging the independence and competency of each person within his/her ability level;
