About ProMed

ProMed Health Plus is an innovative health-tech startup redefining how healthcare providers manage wound care, documentation, and billing.
Our digital portal allows providers to order, organize, and manage care in one simple, automated platform — eliminating administrative complexity with full back-end support.

We’re now entering Phase 2 of development and seeking innovators and leaders to join our team of over 20 dedicated professionals, including our Medical Director, founders, and lead developers. This internship offers the chance to help shape one of the most forward-thinking digital solutions in healthcare.

Internship Overview

Duration: 90 days

Compensation: $1,000 stipend upon successful completion

Schedule: 10–12 hours per week (flexible for students)

Mode: Remote or hybrid

Future Opportunity: Potential long-term role with ProMed as we scale

Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers to integrate QuickBooks Online/Enterprise into our Django-based healthcare portal.

Develop and maintain API connections, data synchronization, and automated reporting workflows.

Assist with back-end enhancements using Django, MySQL, and React JS.

Contribute to AI-driven tools that improve provider workflows and automate documentation.

Participate in weekly sprint meetings and innovation sessions with the core leadership team.

Preferred Skills

Languages / Frameworks: Django (Python), React JS, MySQL

Finance Tools: QuickBooks API / SDK (preferred)

Bonus: AI / ML familiarity (OpenAI, TensorFlow, LangChain, etc.)

Entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem-solving ability

Interest in digital health, automation, and product innovation
