Food Production Assistant rates starting at $16 per hour.

This is a casual position, and we are offering a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment) for the Food Production Assistant.

Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.

Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.

The Food Production Assistant prepares all starches, vegetables, soups, salads, and/or baked goods as assigned.  These food items are served to the Residents and in the staff Cafeteria, plus for all special functions as requested.

Qualifications
for Food Production Assistants:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
