Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: 360 First Ave., Needham, MA 02494 

Schedule: 6:30am - 5:30pm; Mon - Fri. Other possibilities include 5x8s and 4x10s 

Pay Rate: $114,100/yr - $126,880/yr

Requirements:

• Massachusetts State Radiology license (Pending licenses accepted)
• Associates Degree in Radiology Technology 
• Must be MRI registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and obtain certification within 18 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification 

*New graduates are accepted and no professional experience is required*

Job Description:
 

Performs routine and emergency MRI procedures, ensuring accurate patient identification and appropriate exam selection based on clinical information. Explains procedures, addresses patient/family questions, and adapts care to meet individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment, selecting proper techniques to produce quality diagnostic images.
• Reviews requisitions and patient records to confirm exam appropriateness.
• Ensures patient safety, comfort, and understanding of procedures.
• Maintains data integrity and adheres to MR QC standards.
• Reports equipment issues and supports efficient daily operations.
• Upholds hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and BCH core values.
• Participates in departmental meetings, ongoing training, and professional development.
• Maintains required licensure, certifications, and competencies.
