Job Title: Ultrasound Tech

Location: 360 First Ave., Needham, MA 02494 

Schedule: 6:30am - 5:30pm; Mon - Fri. Other possibilities include 5x8s and 4x10s

Pay Rate: $108,160/yr - $124,800/yr

Requirements:

• Registered with ARDMS; must obtain, maintain, and uphold active certification and registration.
• Basic Life Support Certification

Job Description:

Performs routine and complex ultrasound examinations prescribed by a physician. Procedures. Assists in

patient scheduling and facilitates efficient workflow within ultrasound area (board runner). Provides

instruction for trainees and fellows. Takes an active role in research projects involving ultrasound.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex ultrasound exams; ensure appropriateness of procedures.
• Operate advanced ultrasound equipment; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care with empathy and clear communication.
• Support workflow efficiency through scheduling, QA functions, and team collaboration.
• Mentor and train fellows/trainees; serve as a resource for staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies/values.
• Engage in continuing education and contribute to research initiatives.
