Employment Opportunity: Finance Fellow 

Location: Seattle, WA  (Georgetown neighborhood)

Compensation: $21.30 per hour. This position is part-time and does not qualify for additional benefits. 

Hours: 10-20 hours per week 

Duration: February-November 2026

Job Description: 

We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented Finance Fellow for the Washington Senate Democratic Campaign and our senators. This year will be focused on building and supporting legislative campaigns and committee resources as we head into the 2026 campaign year. The Finance Fellow will provide support in raising critical funds for the campaign arm of the Senate 

Democratic Caucus and for many state Senators’ re-election campaigns. 
 

Responsibilities:  

  • Assist with event coordination, planning, and day-of-event operations for WSDC and candidate fundraising events. 
  • Provide administrative support, maintain office supplies, and answer office phones. 
  • Conduct research, such as researching donors, fundraising amounts, etc. 
  • Assist in designing event invitations and social media graphics. 
  • Other responsibilities as they develop, with the ability to learn and explore multiple facets of winning campaigns based on the interest of the Fellow. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Interest and passion for electing Democrats to the State Senate. 
  • Strong research, written, and verbal communication skills. 
  • Working knowledge of G-Suite, Microsoft Office products (particularly Sheets/Excel), and Canva.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Capacity to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
