Next Era Energy | Power Generation Engineer (ROI) - College Intern

This position at NextEra Energy Resources is part of their Power Generation team and is a paid Power Generation Engineer Internship in Engineering, based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. It's for students pursuing bachelor's or master's degrees in Engineering from ABET-accredited programs, preferably Electrical or Computer Engineering, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and lasts for an internship period. Interns will support development of data systems processing applications, perform data system onboarding for new solar and BESS sites, and analyze power generation equipment data from renewable power plants using data analytics tools like Excel, Python, or Matlab. This role provides hands-on experience in Engineering within the renewable energy generation sector and is ideal for students interested in data systems, renewable energy operations, and process optimization.
