This position at Florida Power & Light Company is part of their Power Generation team and is a paid Computer Science Internship in Engineering, based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. It's for students pursuing bachelor's degrees or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and lasts for an internship period. Interns will develop equipment algorithm hierarchy in databases for the company monitoring center, develop software to analyze drone footage and identify new opportunities to utilize drone technology, and develop data analytic tools and advanced dashboards to track key indicators. This role provides hands-on experience in Engineering within the electric utility sector and is ideal for students interested in software development, data analytics, and cybersecurity in power generation environments.
