Digital Marketing & Community Engagement Intern

Creative Aya is an immersive media studio that merges art, storytelling, and emerging technology to build experiences rooted in culture, connection, and imagination. Our projects span live performance, interactive installations, and digital campaigns that reimagine how creativity can bring people together.

We’re seeking a Digital Marketing & Community Engagement Intern to support the launch of a new immersive performance at The Music Center in Los Angeles. This role combines digital marketing, community outreach, and creative communications — perfect for students studying Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or Communications who are excited to apply their skills in a cultural and arts innovation context.

Compensation: $300 stipend 

What You’ll Do

Design and Execute a Marketing Campaign: Help plan and run a digital marketing campaign for an immersive live performance — from concept and content creation to audience engagement.

Create Content: Draft captions, edit short videos, and collaborate on visuals to tell behind-the-scenes stories and highlight artists and collaborators.

Day-of-Show Coverage: Capture and post live social updates during the performance on Friday, November 14, 2025, engaging audiences in real time (remote or onsite).

Email & Newsletter Writing: Draft engaging email invitations and short-form newsletters to Creative Aya’s subscribers and partners.

Manage Online Community: Engage with audiences through comments, DMs, and interactive posts; help grow and maintain an active digital community.

Measure & Report: Track analytics and engagement data to help evaluate campaign reach and impact.

 

Preferred Skills

Majoring in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Media Studies, or a related field.

Strong writing and copyediting skills for social media, newsletters, and short-form storytelling.

Familiarity with social scheduling or campaign management tools (Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite).

Experience with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite for content creation.

Interest in arts, culture, and emerging media — especially immersive or experiential storytelling.

Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with a collaborative mindset.
