Description

The Perryman Company is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated summer intern to join our Quality and Metallurgy team.

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with metallurgical staff to complete lab and mill related projects. 
• Gain experience in inspecting and testing titanium material. 
• Assist with failure analyses and/or customer concerns.

Requirements

• In process of obtaining a degree in metallurgy, materials science or related engineering field. 
• Mechanical aptitude and the desire to perform hands on projects. 
• Strong problem solving skills. 
• Ability to write clear technical reports. 
• Detail oriented. 
• Able to follow instructions both verbal and written and the ability to question instructions if not clear. 
• Desire to pursue a career in metallurgy.
