
Mental Health Therapist Intern
We’re seeking passionate and skilled Mental Health Therapists to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is committed to helping clients navigate life’s challenges and dedicated to professional and personal growth within a collaborative outpatient setting.
Therapists will provide individual, family, or group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based interventions and person-centered approaches.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide ongoing outpatient therapy (individual, family, or group).
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within our EHR system.
Collaborate with clinical supervisors, psychiatrists, case managers, and community partners.
Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Must be enrolled in an approved Master’s-level program in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
Eligibility for or possession of a Maryland license (LMSW, LGPC) within 60 days of hire preferred.
No current or past disciplinary actions against license or academic standing.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience providing individual, family, or group therapy in outpatient, school-based, or community settings.
Familiarity with CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, or other evidence-based practices.
Comfort working with diverse populations across age groups.
