About Our Internships
Tyndale Internships are designed for college students wanting to explore a career in the Christian publishing industry. You will get to engage with other interns across various departments, attend training workshops, and participate in group projects designed to build professional skills.
Important Details
- Interviews for this opening will start in December 2025.
- Internships will start in May 2026 and generally go through the summer but can have flexible scheduling.
- The expected hourly pay for this position is $17 per hour.
- The expected schedule is 40 hours per week.
Editorial Intern
The Nonfiction and Kids Editorial team is committed to shaping resources that point people toward God’s truth with clarity, excellence, and care. We work closely together, balancing precision with creativity, and encouraging one another as we carry out work that has eternal impact. Our team culture is collaborative, mission-driven, and deeply rooted in a love for words that serve the church and the kingdom.
As an Editorial Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience ensuring the clarity and accuracy of Christian books and resources. Working alongside experienced editors, you’ll develop your skills in copyediting and proofreading while learning the publishing process from the inside. This role is more than just training—it’s an opportunity to use your growing gifts with words to support authors, contribute to projects that encourage spiritual growth, and play a part in bringing trusted Christian content to readers worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Strengthen the clarity and accuracy of Christian resources by copyediting manuscripts and proofreading galleys, covers, and other materials
- Contribute to the publishing process by supporting the editorial team with key tasks that move projects toward completion
- Apply attention to detail and editorial judgment to ensure high-quality, trustworthy content reaches readers
- Learn firsthand how a professional Christian publishing house operates, gaining skills that prepare you for a career in editing and publishing
Skills and Qualifications Needed
- A college junior or senior eager to explore a career in publishing and passionate about working with words
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate and manage details effectively
- Growing editorial judgment, computer proficiency, and a foundational understanding of the Bible and evangelical Christian thought
- Personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God’s Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith
