Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced associate attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of legal experience and a strong interest in estate planning, business, and real estate law. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, manage your own caseload, and contribute to the continued growth of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Handle probate and trust administration matters
- Advise clients on business formation, governance, and transactions
- Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions
- Conduct client consultations and maintain regular client communication
- Participate in community engagement and business development efforts
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Michigan
- 5 years of relevant legal experience
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines
- Professional, client-centered, and detail-oriented
