Accounting Analyst

Movement Search & Delivery is working with a Manufacturing Client in Greencastle Indiana to help them find an Accounting Analyst. In this role you will support financial reporting and analysis by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and interpreting financial data. Collaborate across departments to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Analyze financial trends and create reports for leadership
• Assist with A/P, A/R, payroll, royalties, and capital transactions
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Review contracts and invoices for accuracy and tax compliance
• Support ACH releases and resolve accounting issues

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience within an accounting position
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems preferred
