Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven PPC Manager to take full ownership of Alpine’s paid advertising strategy across leading e-commerce platforms. This is a hands-on role — the PPC Manager will directly manage campaigns, analyze profitability by SKU, and ensure ad investments deliver measurable returns.
This is a critical position in Alpine’s e-commerce strategy: the right candidate must bring deep expertise across major retail.com platforms, the ability to collaborate with finance on profitability analysis, and the drive to scale campaigns efficiently. Over time, this role may expand into building and leading a dedicated PPC/Performance Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, execute, and optimize PPC strategies across Amazon, HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, Wayfair.com, and Overstock.com.
• Manage advertising budgets with a focus on profitability by item, not just top-line sales.
• Partner with Finance to analyze SKU-level profitability and adjust campaigns accordingly.
• Monitor and adjust bids, budgets, and targeting to improve ROI and reduce wasted spend.
• Create daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on ad performance, spend, and profitability.
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and category performance reviews.
• Identify underperforming items and make recommendations to improve or cut spend.
• Collaborate with Sales, Inventory, and Marketing teams to align ad strategy with overall business priorities.
• Stay current on retail media best practices and platform updates to keep Alpine ahead of the curve.
• Support long-term vision to scale Alpine’s digital advertising, potentially building a small team in the future.

Qualifications
• 5–7+ years of direct experience managing PPC campaigns on Amazon and major retail.com platforms (Home Depot, Lowe’s, Wayfair, Overstock).
• Proven success managing large SKU catalogs (1,000+ items) and high-budget accounts.
• Strong understanding of retail media, marketplace algorithms, and profitability management.
• Advanced analytical and Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, profitability models).
• Experience working closely with Finance teams to ensure ad spend aligns with net margin goals.
• Strong communication skills — able to explain performance clearly to executives.
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently in a high-pressure, results-driven environment.
• Based on West Coast time zone strongly preferred; Simi Valley, CA office presence ideal.
